Linn Källgren. ![]() IN VENIO Understanding the perception of design elements in products for industrial environments to develop brand strategy and strengthen brand values. The case of Adixen Scandinavia This project has been carried out at the company Prodelox AB in Linköping, a young, fast growing consultancy with about twenty employees, that are specialized in product development with a focus on mechanics. Recently the company has taken a big step towards offering qualified industrial design services as an experienced industrial designer has been hired full time as well as a junior industrial designer. The project commissioner is Adixen Scandinavia, a technology based company that develop products for hydrogen leak detection, owned by Alcatel Vacuum Technology. In this master’s thesis perceptions of products used in industrial environments are investigated and discussed with the help of positioning tests, interviews, company visits, walk-a-longs and photo documentation. The results where later used as a foundation for the development of a design strategy document and the design of a table leak detector and probe for Adixen Scandinavia. Linn Källgren Presskit |
