On 25 November, the Energy Transition profile area invites you to a seminar with Klas Roudén who will give a presentation where facts about the power system serves a basis for describing current challenges in power system operation. Klas has a control room perspective on the Nordic power system in general and the Swedish system in particular. He will be addressing the grid, the electricity generation, and the interaction between these.

Klas Roudén has 40 years of working experience of which 22 years with Vattenfall and 18 years with Svenska kraftnät. He has wide experience from electric power technical development, hydropower production, project management for power stations, capacity calculations, voltage regulation, operational training, HVDC, development of functions for control and monitoring of our large power system. Working as engineer on duty (vakthavande ingenjör) for the transmission network control center for more than a decade has given first hand insight into operational challenges.
