The Energy Transition lunch seminar: Heating system of the future
The lunch seminar offers our members an insight into how E.ON is working to secure a sustainable and efficient energy future.
On 18 October, the Energy Transition Profile Area will host a lunch seminar with Patrick Lauenburg, optimisation engineer at E.ON and former researcher at LTH. He will talk about E.ON's work on optimising district heating systems. With a strong focus on flexibility and sustainability, E.ON is working to maximise the potential of its district heating systems - not least in Malmö.
District heating systems have always offered flexibility through the smart use of CHP, heat pumps and thermal storage. But in today's energy market, where electricity prices are fluctuating more and more, this flexibility has become a key to the future of energy systems. Patrick will share his insights on how E.ON is using demand management and optimisation of district heating systems to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
The lunch seminar offers our members an insight into how the company is working to secure a sustainable and efficient energy future.
