Professor receives award for his work in raising interest in chemistry
Ulf Ellervik, professor at the Department of Chemistry at LTH, has been awarded the Swedish Chemical Engineers' National Association's Chemistry Technology Prize for his ability to de-dramatise the subject of chemistry and arouse students' interest.

Commissioned education from Lund University contributes to the reduction of traffic fatalities
Every year, traffic accidents account for more than 1.3 million deaths worldwide. In an effort to reduce this figure, Lund University offers international courses in road safety management for professionals. Millions invested in new beamline at MAX IV
The Novo Nordisk Foundation recently made the announcement to grant DKK 225 million to Lund University for the construction and operation of MicroMAX, a new beamline for the MAX IV research facility in Lund, Sweden. The beamline will become one of the world’s strongest protein microscopes and an important tool for researchers studying proteins.
