Pioneering Women in STEM Scholarship Announced for LTH Master's Programs
In October 2024, the Swedish Institute (SI) launched a new fully funded scholarship for women from 10 countries in Africa and Asia. Five of the international master's programmes at LTH have been designated for the SI scholarship "Pioneering Women in STEM", which aims to empower women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

LTH researcher receive 26 million from the Wallenberg Foundation
Three researchers from Lund University have been awarded a total of 87 million SEK in grants from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation for research on future semiconductors, our immunological memory, and next-generation gene therapies. WISE grants to four projects at the Department of Physics
Four PhD and postdoctoral projects at the Department of Physics are awarded funding in the second academic call from WISE. In total, 54 projects across the country will share SEK 166 million.
Successful commercialisation of dementia simulator
What does it feel like to live with dementia? The answer is offered by the “dementia simulator” developed by virtual reality researchers at the Faculty of Engineering, LTH. The simulator takes the user into a virtual world to experience different aspects of life with a cognitive disorder.
Great Gold Medal to Anne L'Huillier
Anne L'Huillier, Professor of Physics at Lund University, is awarded the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences’ (IVA) Great Gold Medal for significant contributions to the Academy's field of activity. The award is presented by IVA’s Chair, Marcus Wallenberg.

ERC Proof of Concept to Per Augustsson

A discussion on semiconductors was on the agenda in Almedalen. The dialogue, hosted by LTH at Lund University, addressed how Sweden can contribute to the efforts being made in Europe. One of the conclusions of the discussion was "the crisper the proposal – the more policy influence".

Hat and Ring for 75 New LTH doctors
