Now, the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics has finally been officially celebrated at LTH. 700 LTH students, employees, and specially invited guests together created a joyous Nobel euphoria throughout Kårhuset.

With the red carpet in place, Nobel celebrants arrived to the tunes of the student orchestra Alte Kamereren's festive performance.
Our own Nobel laureate Anne L'Huillier then delivered a Nobel lecture in a fully packed auditorium. The lecture was broadcast live on a large screen in two additional banquet halls in the building, and was also streamed externally for the whole world to watch via Youtube. After an applauded Nobel lecture, there was a Q&A session with the laureate.
Both the Nobel lecture and the Q&A session are, of course, available to watch retrospectively.
Afterwards, there was cake, mingling, and – for those who wished – photography at a specially designed photo wall for the day.
The celebration concluded with a magnificent fireworks display, courtesy of LTH's volunteer student association Lundapyrot, with two raised flags in front of it: one Swedish and one French.
Alte Kamereren welcomed Anne L'Huillier and all the guests of the day.
