– Published 8 April 2016
The competition will include a kick-off, an optional pitch event with inspiring guest speakers and a diverse jury. There would also be prizes for teams.
The Lund University Sustainability Forum is holding a case competition within April and May 2016 in partnership with two local Skåne companies, NSR and Godsinlösen. NSR is a regional waste management company and Godsinlösen is an environmental technology company.
The theme for these cases will be circular economy. There will also be a third case provided by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (Naturskyddsföreningen) on green finance. The consulting company COWI is also a partner, as well as ProLab, SoPact and VentureLab.
The competition is free and open for all Lund University students of any field or degree level.
Students can participate as individuals or teams of up to five people, and can submit ideas for one, two or all three cases. The ideas may be in either Swedish or in English.
Teams representing several different faculties or study areas are strongly encouraged, since this could strengthen team ideas. One winning team or individual will be selected for each company case.
The cases will be presented on Wednesday, April 13 and the registration form for the competition will open after the kick-off event. Participating teams must enroll via the event webpage at the latest Thursday, April 21 at 17.00 in order to compete.
